SoloSale is a property sale toolkit for New Zealand homeowners selling privately. SoloSale provides tools — including signage, document management, lead capture, and legal workflow scaffolding — to assist private sellers. SoloSale is not a licensed real estate agent and does not negotiate, advise on, or facilitate the actual sale of property.
SoloSale provides tools, not legal advice. All legal documents, including any Sale & Purchase agreement drafts, are provided as templates or scaffolding only. You must engage a licensed New Zealand lawyer or conveyancer to review and finalise any legal documents before use. SoloSale accepts no liability for legal outcomes.
You must be 18 years or older and a New Zealand resident to use SoloSale as a seller. By registering a seller account, you confirm you are the legal owner (or authorised representative) of any property you list.
Buyers may create a buyer portal account to track their property enquiries, save searches, and raise support tickets. Buyer portal accounts are open to any person 18 years or older who provides a valid email address and completes email verification. Buyer portal accounts are free of charge.
SoloSale offers tiered pricing (Starter, Professional, Premium). All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST where applicable. Card payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment service provider. SoloSale does not store your full card number—Stripe handles card data subject to its terms and PCI requirements.
Where we offer additional instalment or “buy now, pay later” options (for example Afterpay or similar), those services are provided only when explicitly shown at checkout and are subject to the third party’s approval, fees, and terms. Such options do not alter your listing agreement with SoloSale except as described at the point of sale.
Bank and card statements: The name that appears next to the charge is set in Stripe as your payment processor’s statement descriptor (typically SoloSale’s legal or trading name once finalised with our bank). If you need a receipt, use the email Stripe sends or your dashboard payment confirmation.
SoloSale listing fees are non-refundable once your listing has been activated (i.e. the Property Agreement has been accepted and your listing is live).
Refunds are available in the following circumstances:
Refunds are not available for:
To request a refund, submit a support ticket from your dashboard or email support@solosale.co.nz. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, documents, property details). By uploading, you grant SoloSale a licence to display this content on your public listing page and in PDF signs. You may remove your content at any time.
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
SoloSale may offer optional buyer search alerts: buyers who choose to save criteria (for example location and price band) and who clearly opt in may be counted, in the aggregate, when a seller’s public listing appears to overlap those criteria. Buyers may save these criteria from the public listings experience or from the buyer portal (including the “Looking to buy” sign-up path for people who have not yet enquired on a specific property).
The SoloSale buyer portal provides authenticated buyers with a private view of their enquiries, saved searches, and communications with sellers.
SoloSale is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993), SoloSale's liability is limited to the fees you have paid. SoloSale is not liable for any loss arising from your property sale, buyer interactions, or legal proceedings.
SoloSale is a self-service tool. It is not a real estate agency and is not subject to the Real Estate Agents Act 2008. SoloSale does not list properties on third-party portals, negotiate sale prices, or act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
